Morgan is a photographer and a filmmaker, a former scientist, and current science groupie.
Living in a small mountain town in Colorado, she spends a lot of time hiking and exploring mountains and streams with her dog Javier.
She likes to make people laugh while they learn science (Symbiosis is weird, OK?), and she doesnt shy from tough environmental stories, (environmental war zones created by trespass marijuana grows).
She doesnt wait to start covering an issue. Though shes always grateful for the support.
She loves helping wildlifeand people. She wants them to do a better job of living together.
These are the reasons she picked up a camera.
She works as part of a kick-ass team at Days Edge Productions.
See her work in BBC Wildlife, Smithsonian, Nature Conservancy, WWF Magazine and more. She is an alumni of the Missouri Photo Workshop, board member of NANPA, and in 2016, became a National Geographic grantee for her collaborative project on urban coyotes with iLCP Associate Fellow Karine Aigner and Affiliate Jaymi Heimbuch.
Trying to get your own project off the ground? Morgan is happy to answer questions about conservation photography and storytelling.
