Emanuele Biggi

Emanuele is an Italian naturalist and photographer with a Ph.D in Environmental Sciences. He's mainly focused on the smaller creatures, conservation of nature and science-at-work photography.

He strongly believes in the power of science communication and the role of photography to share the hard work all researchers carry on each day in their labs and fieldwork.

He's the scientific advisor of parks and nature reserves in Italy. Emanuele is also the Italian broadcast TV presenter of GEO, a TV show about nature and environment airing live each day for three hours since September to May on RAI 3 channel.

He's the author and curator of scientific expositions with whom he tries to bring nature to people, to raise the awareness about all the beauty and issues of the natural world.

He is also a winner and finalist of various international photography prizes and speaker of international photography symposiums and festivals.
