Iñaki has traveled around the world with his camera, and through the means of his photography has campaigned to conserve countryside, fauna and flora worldwide. He has published 6 books of photographs, and his images have been used to illustrate more than 150 projects. The most well-known of these books are Photosfera, la naturaleza a travs del objetivo and Ordesa, las montaas de Celia.


His photographs regularly appear in magazines such as National Geographic (USA), BBC Wildlife Magazine (UK), Audubon Magazine (USA), Lonely Planet, Altair and The New York Times, and many more. He has also taken part in the important campaign Wildlife as Canon sees it, which has appeared in the National Geographic magazine for more than 30 years.


Iñaki has received international awards in prestigious competitions such as the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year.


He also works on international long-term projects, such as the Wild Wonders of Europe, or on his own personal project Madagascar, Noahs Ark, which he has been working on over recent years. Currently he is preparing another extensive project, The Living Med, in which he will photograph the last natural refuges of the Mediterranean on three continents.


He has his own Youtube channel and his photos can be seen on well-known websites such as Nature Photo Blog, among others. His photographs are distributed by the international agency Nature Picture Library. His current goal is to make sure his photographs contribute positively to the conservation of natural spaces around the globe. In one of his interviews, he encapsulates his philosophy: A beautiful photograph is not enough.
