Helen Cherullo

Helen Cherullo is the publisher of Mountaineers Books and founder of Braided River. She has worked with many of the continent's finest emerging and veteran nature photographers and writers to publish large-format photographically driven books, media, exhibits, and events. Braided River collaborates with grassroots organizations and committed philanthropists on strategic conservation campaigns to preserve the last remaining wild places in western North America. In 2011 she received the "Voice of the Wild" award from the Alaska Wilderness League for supporting greater awareness to protect and preserve Alaska's wilderness.
