Nkrumah Frazier

Nkrumah Frazier has a bachelor's degree in environmental biology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He currently enjoys his position as the Sustainability Officer for the city of Hattiesburg, MS. He was worked with in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service to help in achieving its goals for wilderness management in the Black Creek Wilderness located within the DeSoto National Forest. He also volunteers with several non-profit organizations working locally and at a national level. 

In 2015 Nkrumah founded the non-profit Hikes Across America! Through this organization he hopes to encourage and inspire Americans from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds to explore and connect with nature in their communities and beyond. He enjoys engaging his local community in all issues related to sustainable practices as well as public land conservation and management.
