Peter Chadwick is a terrestrial and marine protected area specialist at the strategic and operational levels. He has over 30 years of extensive conservation and protected area management experience gained across Africa and the Western Indian Ocean. Â He is also an internationally recognised award winning photographer specializing in photographing and writing about conservation and environmental issues on the African continent. Peter is a Senior Fellow and Executive Member of the International League of Conservation Photographers. He is an Adobe Premium Photographer and his work is also represented by Science Photo and Getty and Gallo Photographic Libraries. Peter was also selected as the 2020 Imagely Fund Environmental Fellow
In recent years his conservation work has focused on four primary areasÂ
1. Strategic and operational protected area development, management and assessment.Â
2. Countering wildlife and environmental crime through undertaking of area integrity threat and risk assessments, developing strategic security plans and leading specialized counter-poaching mentoring and training.
3. Developing and implementing strategic and operational plans for rare species and other wildlife.
4. Conservation photojournalism focussing on marine protected areas, wildlife and environmental crime and Africa's ranger teams at the frontline of conservation on the continnet
